This is an ongoing project made over several years and multiple visits to Cuba beginning in 2022. The images reflect on proximity, contradiction, and permeability. How beauty, care, and endurance persist amid scarcity and constraint. The photographs are offered as an act of witnessing and in solidarity with the people of Cuba who are waiting, waiting, waiting and live beyond the binary experience of “this” or “that.”
